Beaux Arts Ball
The Beaux Arts Ball was instituted in 1953 as a major fund-raising activity, and holds the distinction of being the oldest costume ball in South Florida. Themes vary widely, from Bal d'Erte to Phantom of the Opera to Monster Mash, and the creativity of costumes makes each year a unique experience. The 2005 ball's theme was "James Bond". Everyone showed up in true Bond style, the men in their finest tuxedos and the ladies in their best Bond girl attire from sexy lingerie to a full gold-painted body!

Four Seasons Miami
"My idea of good company is the company of clever, well-informed people who have a great deal of conversation; that is what I call good company." – Attributed to Jane Austen.
I could not agree more with one of Britains most clever writers and that “good company” is our Beaux Art group.
So…without further delay … join “good company” in the Social Event of the season, the 55th anniversary costume spectatular, on October 25th at the posh Four Seasons on Brickell, for (drum roll or rather Queen’s March) “The British Invasion Ball”.
Please rally your best pals for a good time and an opportunity to support the arts and please come inspired as your favorite Brit from across the pond. - Hillary Scurtis (Ball Chair)
